Mr Ginsberg,When i applied for disability i was not represented by an attorney.I stated my disability as diabetic neauropathy, lower lumbar, and cervical neck fusion and ruptures.I had surgery on my lower back due to a ruptured disc and surgical fusion aon my neck 5&6.these were done in 2000 and 2002...before my insurance was cut in 2002 after the fusion i was diagnosed with another rupture above the fusion.i had no insurance anymore so i dealt with it up until dec. 2010 when i filed.I was turned down..I got an attorney and he said that i would most likely be turned down again and then have to go before the judge.I am wondering if the fact that i worked for the past 9 yrs with ruptured disc and lower lumbar deg.disc disease if it will hurt my case...i just coulnt work any longer.i was also diagnosed with fibromayaga 2 months ago and arthritis in multiple joints...my gosh im so confused as to what i should be mostly focused on...also the neuropathy is extreme pain every day.Now i am finding that my feet are stiffening up on me bad...I cry alot!!I know that i already have council but could you just give me your opinion...thank you so very much, cindy parish

@Vickie - yes you can make notes and refer to them during your hearing. I would advise the judge why you are referring to your notes since memory loss is often a symptom of depression.

I have severe depression and anxiety. I worked for about 30 years in retail Management. Can I make notes for myself and use them during the hearing? When I am stressed I have brain fog and freeze, my mind goes blank.
Thank You
