Is a half-way house considered a pre-release or a release from prison? Can a waiver be signed so that checks can be reinstated if so before leaving the half-way house?

I am not currently married but my fiancee' and I are planning to. We just have not set a date. My Kids from my previous marriage are getting children benefits for dependent's. It was ordered at the time of my divorce to be my child support. I see that if I go to prison, which could happen unless the Judge decides to put me on probation. Since i started receiving my disability before I met the woman I am going to marry now, my disability payments would stop while I am, if I go to prison, inside until release.

If we get married before I an sentenced will this stop the termination of my benefits while I am locked up?
